Ever thought you'd like to learn to sew?

Well, now you can.  The Eternal Maker craft shop in Chichester have employed me to run a series of sewing courses with them.  The first was proffesional cushion makingand was thoroughly enjoyable.  All of the students went away with a new cushion complete with concealed zip and piping.  The second course was for basic curtain making.  This too went well and had some lovely feedback.

Read on for future courses in 2010.

Here's an email I received from a happy curtain maker......
Hi Kim
I just wanted to drop you an email to tell you how much I enjoyed the course you taught at The Eternal Maker on Friday 26 March.    Sewing has been in my family for three generations now and I finally caught the bug a few years ago when my Mum moved away and I could no longer pester her to do my sewing!  Curtains have always terrified me, especially the measuring side!  You managed to put me at my ease and dymystify it for me though on Friday and I came away feeling confident that I could actually run up a pair of curtains for myself!  Incidentally, I was the one with the nightmare material!    I'll definitely be booking myself on the next roman blind course!
